MM’s Thur Wx Forecast for June 16

Wx Summary

Another hot and humid day is in store for the plateau, with only slight rain chances. A cold front will pass through on Friday and bring a bit better chance for rain. Behind that front, a less humid air mass will settle in. Saturday looks pleasant but by Sunday that dry air starts heating up. We start the week with another, albeit less humid, heat wave.

Last night’s class at TCAT Crossville was a huge success! I’ll be doing it again at the Roane State Campus in Clarkrange this evening at 5:00!

This week’s MM newsletter is the about understanding dewpoint and humidity and what they mean to the “feels like” temperature outside. If you find this kind of info interesting for our area, you might consider subscribing to the newsletter at https://meteorologistmarkpro.com/! It’s only $5 a month or $50 a year, with proceeds supporting my education outreach programs with the kids.

  1. for the last few days your email forecast has been physically enlarged when I view it. Not related to my browser settings.

    1. Thanks for letting me know. WordPress had an update that originally made my text super small on mobile devices. It seems now the opposite is true. Hopefully, they’ll get this all straightened out soon.
