Good evening, folks. The radar was quite until a couple of hours ago. Now, storms are really starting to fire off to our north. We even have a storm to our east near Knoxville. That Knoxville storm won’t affect us, but if you step outside you can see it and the lightning is beautiful. It’s far enough away that it can’t strike you, so it’s worth having a look.
The storms to our north could very well affect us as we go into the evening. Some of those storms could be strong or even severe, with damaging winds being the main threat.
While the storms in Kentucky could move in on us later, we could also see anything develop at any time now. Just be aware of that.
The current radar shows activity developing. Notice these storms have plenty of lightning, as well.
