Severe Storms Update 4:15 a.m.

Severe t-storms continue to rumble across the plateau. Now, all of Cumberland County is under a severe t-storm warnings until 4:45 a.m., which could be extended to a later time as these storms progress across the county.

All warnings for Fentress County have been allowed to expire, as storms have pushed south of that county.

Expect very heavy rainfall that could pose the risk for flash flooding.

Frequent to nearly continuous lightning is also expected.

Be safe if you have an early morning commute, as water could still be on roadways and some roads may even wash out.

Winds could gust to 60 mph, which is enough to down trees.

The current radar shows plenty of t-storm activity moving in from the west. Be safe if you must be out on area roads this morning.
