Be safe if you’re traveling through southern Fentress County this evening. A flash flood warning is in effect there until 8:00 p.m. Radar estimates 2-3 inches of rain has fallen there this evening with rain continuing to fall in some locations. Be mindful of rapid rises in water and don’t drive across flooded roadways.
The radar at 6:10 shows this rainfall. Notice there is lots of lightning, as well. If you know anyone out that way yard saling you might let them know about this. Another storm is noted around Fairfield and it may become stronger in the coming minutes, with heavy rainfall being the main threat.
