There is a risk for thunderstorms on Tuesday. At thit time, severe weather is not expected, though that risk is being monitored. In addition to thunderstoms, southerly winds are expected to increase Monday night into Tuesday with that storm system, with some gusts reaching 30 mph.

The SPC has placed our area in the “general thunderstorms” category for Tuesday. I’ll keep an eye on that.

The greatest threat is expected to stay well to our southwest.

1091 – Tornado (possible F-4) strikes the heart of London killing two and demolishing the wooden London Bridge.

Hurricane Forecast
An area of low pressure is being monitored in the Atlantic. It appears that just as this system might start developing, it will move into cooler waters and struggle. Again, it is being monitored closely.
