Artemis I Update

The Space Launch System rocket launched late last Tuesday night. Now, the Orion capsule that was carried up by the rocket will conduct a flyby of the Moon tomorrow morning! During Artemis II, the Orion capsule wil be carrying astronauts.

NASA will cover the flyby live on NASA TV from https://www.nasa.gov/ and the NASA app starting at 6:15 a.m. CST Monday, Nov. 21. The burn is planned for 6:44 a.m. Orion will lose communication with Earth as it passes behind the Moon from 6:25 a.m. through 6:59 a.m., making its closest approach of approximately 80 miles from the surface at 6:57 a.m.

Meteorologist Mark Kids’ Classes (MM Class)

The next MM kid’s classes will take place in January and February of 2023. The next Crossville class will take place on Wednesday, January 18 at 4:30 pm. The Clarkrange class will take place Thursday, February 2 at 5:00 pm. Registration is required. The class topic will be hail! Registration can be found at https://meteorologistmark.com/mm-kids/
