1906- An early freeze occurs at Nashville, as the morning temperature bottoms out at 29 degrees.

1925 – Widespread early season snows fell in the northeastern U.S., with as much as two feet in New Hampshire and Vermont. The heavy snow blocked roads and cancelled football games.

The system in the Gulf has moved inland. There are no other threats to the U.S. over the next five days.
