2005 – Severe thunderstorms produced over 30 tornadoes in six states, resulting in one fatality and at least 35 injuries. Some of the worst damage occurred in Henry County, Tennessee, where numerous homes and businesses were damaged or destroyed. The tornado outbreak produced 13 twisters across Middle Tennessee. One person was injured in Collinwood (Wayne County). Fortunately, no fatalities are reported.

1900 – A record lake-effect snowstorm at Watertown, New York, produced 45 inches in 24 hours. The storm total was 49 inches.
