MM’s Forecast for the Plateau
This forecast is tailor-made for the Cumberland Plateau by Meteorologist Mark Baldwin each day!
We are in store for an absolutely beautiful Tuesday, with lots of sunshine and low humidity.
Southerly breezes that could gust to 20 mph on Wednesday will start bringing back the humid air that comes from the Gulf. That will create an opportunity for an isolated shower or storm Wednesday afternoon/evening.
By Thursday, a much better chance for scattered showers and storms returns to the region. Winds Thursday look to be gusty, gusting to 30 mph at times from the southwest. I’ll be monitoring the risk for severe storms on Thursday, as well as the risk for flash flooding. Stay tuned on that!
Friday looks like a day with more scattered showers and thunderstorms, before we’re gifted another beautiful day on Saturday with lots of sunshine and low humidity.
