This forecast is tailor-made for the Cumberland Plateau by Meteorologist Mark Baldwin each day!
Southerly winds are bringing humidity levels up today!
That more humid air will combine with warm temps and frontal boundaries to bring us a good chance for scattered showers and storms today. Southerly winds today could gust to 30 mph at times. I’ll be monitoring the risk for severe storms this afternoon and evening, as well as the risk for flash flooding. Stay tuned for any special updates.
Showers move out by mid-morning Friday, giving us a decent afternoon and evening.
Saturday looks fantastic, with comfortable temps and low humidity.
By Sunday, the airmass changes once again, leading to a 50% chance for scattered showers and storms. More widespread showers and storms return for Monday.
