10:55 Update: Tropical Storm Dolly has now formed in the Atlantic. She’s not expected to cause any trouble. The naming is purely coincidental, with these names being determined years in advance.

(Updates) MM’s Wed 5-Day: One More Dry Day

1:45 Update: Clouds have increased a bit earlier than expected, owing to a large complex of storm in West TN. The tops of those storms are being blown off and carried toward us. The afternoon will still be dry, but cloudy.

(Update Avail) MM’s Mon 5-Day: Nice Days & Stormier Days Ahead

Today is Monday, August 24, 2026

2:20 pm Update: In a conference call with the NWS Nashville this afternoon, they expressed their concern for a strong storm or two Wednesday afternoon/evening, mainly for the Nashville area. The Storm Prediction Center has not highlighted a threat and I am yet to see anything that concerns me. However, I’ll keep an eye on it. They did remind everyone of the heat that is expected to build into the region next weekend.
