A total solar eclipse, as seen from the far side of the Moon, by Artemis II. “It’s just, it’s indescribable. No matter how long we look at this, our brains are not processing this image in front of us. It is absolutely spectacular, surreal. There’s no adjectives. I’m going to need to invent some new ones to describe what we are looking at out this window,” Astronaut Wiseman.

Track Artemis at https://www.nasa.gov/missions/artemis-ii/arow/ (I advise doing the short tutorial they provide). The astronauts will return home Friday morning at 7:07 CDT with a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean.

Sunny & dry days continue.

The most active weather of this period will occur over the southern Plains this weekend, where significant severe weather is likely to occur. At this time, that does not look like it will impact us.

Threat Outlook
There is a low-end risk for severe storms today across portions of Kansas.
