This forecast is tailor-made for the Cumberland Plateau by Meteorologist Mark Baldwin each day!
Well, our low-end severe storm risk verified yesterday! We were the only tornado warning issued in the whole state. Aren’t we lucky? ha We truly are fortunate that no damage was reported with that storm.
Our risk for scattered showers and storms continues through next week. If you have outdoor plans, have a solid indoor back-up plan! Maybe you catch a break between showers but be able to move indoors quickly in case another shower or storm moves in.
Also, remember that if you can hear it thunder you’re close enough to be struck by lightning. Move indoors if you hear thunder’s roar.
