Scattered showers and storms are developing this afternoon to our northwest and are moving toward the plateau. These will contain dangerous lightning and heavy downpours that could lead to localized flash flooding. Be mindful of this if you have outdoor plans this afternoon. Have indoor back-up plans in place, especially if need to take shelter from a storm. These are scattered, so not everyone will see them. Just be ready in case you do.
