On This Day
1880 – Seattle, Washington, was in the midst of their worst snowstorm of record. Hundreds of barns were destroyed, and transportation was brought to a standstill, as the storm left the city buried under four feet of snow.
1988 – It was a bad day for chickens. Heavy snow in Arkansas, with totals ranging up to 16 inches at Heber Springs, claimed the lives of 3.5 million chickens, and snow and ice up to three inches thick claimed the lives of another 1.75 million chickens in north central Texas.

Twister is Returning to the Big Screen!
Meteorologist Mark, Crossville Fire & Rescue, the Cumberland County Emergency Management Agency, and Creative Compassion are bringing Twister back to the big screen!
As part of severe weather awareness week, the historic Palace Theatre in downtown Crossville will be showing Twister on February 25 at 7:00 pm! MM Classes for Kids
The next MM kid’s classes will take place this month in Crossville! That class will take place on Wednesday, January 18 at 4:30 pm at TCAT. The Clarkrange class will take place Thursday, February 2 at 5:00 pm. Registration is required. The class topic will be hail! Registration can be found at https://meteorologistmark.com/mm-kids/
