If current trends continue, we have a serious threat for ice on the plateau this weekend. Just a heads up. I know that’s not what anyone wants to hear, but I suggest preparing for the worst and hope for the best.
Trends could still go back to all snow, but this has been a signal that keeps showing up in the data and has even strengthened today. Therefore, we dont want to ignore that possible threat, especially since we all know how impactful ice can be.
It still looks like we’ll get snow at the onset Saturday morning and at the end on Sunday. What happens in between could be ice and sleet.
