Local 5-Day Forecast for the Plateau
Local matters, especially when it comes to your weather forecast! Bringing you your local weather since 2017!
This forecast is tailor-made for the Cumberland Plateau by Meteorologist Mark Baldwin each day!
Another very mild day for the plateau!
And like yesterday, we may even see an isolated shower or storm on the plateau this afternoon and evening. It’s nothing to cancel outdoor plans over, but something to keep in the back of your mind.
The MUCH better chance for showers and storms comes Saturday afternoon and evening. Some of those storms could be severe and I’m watching that very closely.
By Sunday, the thunder threat should be over but the shower threat remains.
A lower chance for showers will be with us Monday before much better rain chances return Tuesday. Next week looks mild and unsettled.

Threat Outlook
The Storm Prediction Center has shaded an enormous area in the marginal risk for severe storms for Saturday (dark green coloration). This is for the risk for an isolated severe storm.
