Issued Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
A severe t-storm watch has been issued for all of Middle TN and the Cumberland Plateau until 8:00 pm. CST. This not include you folks in Morgan or Scott counties. A line of strong to severe storms is currently moving into the Nashville area and will arrive here later this afternoon. The threat timeframe will begin at 3:00 pm for us here on the plateau.
Large hail and damaging winds are the main threat, though an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out. I’ll keep an eye on things.
