The center of Tropical Storm Cristobal made landfall at 5:00 pm along the southeast coast of Louisiana. Max sustained winds were 50 mph at landfall.
The storm will continue moving slowly north, northwest over the next 24 hours. The system could bring us some storms by Tuesday afternoon and into Wednesday, especially when a cool front sweeps through on Wednesday.
At this time, the severe weather is expected to stay west of the plateau.
I’ll have more on all of this in Monday morning’s blog!
