Hazards

Five-Day Outlook

Wednesday: Morning showers. Turning cooler by evening. Windy, with gusts to 20 mph.
Thursday: Partly cloudy and cooler. Windy, with gusts to 20 mph.
Friday: Partly cloudy and cool. Clouds increase later in the day.
The Weekend: Partly to mostly cloudy, with a chance of showers.
Forecast Discussion & Concerns
The next five days look rather quiet. Showers return by the weekend, but hazardous weather is not expected with that activity.
Storm Report
Yesterday’s severe t-storm warning led to wind damage in the area of Tabor Loop. That damage was caused by straight-line winds from that severe t-storm. A tree fell on at least one house and other damage to other smaller structures was reported. Power was out to many residents in that area as crews worked to get trees off powerlines. The warning lead time was about an hour and a tornado watch had been in effect for several hours. Kudos to the NWS Nashville for issuing the warning with so much lead time and thanks to the Storm Prediction Center for issuing the watch early on.
