MM’s Sat Wx Forecast

Forecast issued Saturday, January 21, 2023

Weather Statements

Wintry precip is possible Sunday night. While it is unlikely to cause problems, I will issue a special update Saturday night at 7:00 to update you on that situation.

A powerful storm system is likely to bring wind and rain to the area Tuesday night and Wednesday. Winds could gust over 40 mph, which could cause disruptions to power. I’ll monitor closely.

Five-Day Outlook

Weather Summary

Our Saturday is looking nice but rain will develop across the area overnight. While rainfall is expected to be widespread, rainfall amounts are expected to be light. The precip may end as some snowflakes Sunday night. At this time, those are not expected to cause any problems, but I am watching that closely.

A news storm system moves in by Tuesday night bringing wind and rain to the area. The main headline with that system may be the strong southerly winds with that system that could push winds to gust to at least 40 mph Tuesday night and Wednesday. That system could also end as some snow flurries but those are not looking problematic at this time.
