9:00 Update

There are currently no watches or warnings in our area.

Storms have thankfully struggled today. We had all the ingredients, but something just didn’t come together on the plateau. We’ll be thankful for that, though it does throw a wrench in trying to plan outdoor activities.

A line of storms has developed just west of Nashville and that will push east. There have been some warnings within that line but, so far, there hasn’t been anything too concerning. The most intense cells this evening have been up in Kentucky and they are moving eastward.

I still wouldn’t be surprised to see a new severe t-storm watch issued but we’ll see.

It is good to see the Storm Prediction Center drop the enhanced risk. Now, we’re all in the slight risk. That’s still something to not take too lightly, but things have trended better.

I’m still keeping a close eye on things!
