Local Weather Concerns
We are now in a pattern where we’ll need to watch for complexes of showers and t-storms to develop across the Midwest and move southeast. Any of these complexes could produce damaging wind gusts, heavy rainfall, and small hail. Frequent lightning will be a threat with any storm.
The Storm Prediction Center has highlighted our area in a marginal threat for severe storms for today and will likely highlight our area in that threat, at different times, for the Friday through Sunday time period as well. If you have outdoor plans, just monitor the forecast, check the radar, and keep an eye to the sky.
