The storm that moved through Cookeville is now moving through Fentress County but has weakened. That storm caused power outages in Putnam County, with nearly 700 people without power. But, that storm has weakened. A severe t-storm watch remains in effect.
Lightning from storms in East Tn is putting on quite the lightning show to our east! I just stepped outside (I’m not near any storms right now) and it’s one of the most impressive lightning displays I’ve ever seen. I just looked northeast.
I’m still watching everything but things seem to be settling down.
