MM’s 5-Day Forecast

Yesterday’s Weather Statistics

Radar-Estimated Rainfall from Yesterday

On This Day
1983- Temperature at Nashville drops to 36, tying the record low for the month. Crossville’s low of 33 ties the record low for the month.
1890 – A severe hailstorm struck Strawberry, Arizona. Fives days after the storm hail still lay in drifts 12 to 18 inches deep.
2005 – For the first time in the historical record, two hurricanes reached category-5 intensity in the Gulf of Mexico in a single season as Hurricane Rita intensified before making landfall (Katrina and Rita).
Tropics
A newly-formed tropical system threatens portions of the East Coast with wind and rain today through the weekend. The system is expected to reach maximum sustained winds of 60 mph as it slowly moves up the coast. While the system may through some clouds across our eastern sky, that’s about all the impact we will see from this.

Emergency Services
I’m so proud to be contracted with Crossville City Fire to provide critical weather support for emergency services!
