A Wet Start to the Weekend
The first half of our weekend is starting off wet, with around 3/4 of inch of rainfall expected today. Showers move out early Sunday morning, leaving us with a decent finish to the weekend, although it will be a windy day. A weak disturbance will throw some clouds across our skies for Monday, with some of those clouds dropping a shower or two, especially across portions of Fentress County. Those rain chances are very low but not zero. Mostly sunny skies will be with us for Tuesday. At this time, Wednesday looks partly cloudy and dry. Expect gusty winds from Sunday through Tuesday, with some gusts to 25 mph. Hazardous weather is not expected for the next five days.
