Radar Model Forecast
This model runs from 8:00 a.m. Wednesday to noon. Notice the thin line of strong storms that pushes through in that timeframe.

Forecast Summary
Showers and thunderstorms during the morning will accompany a very strong cold front that will send temps plunging into the 30s by the afternoon. Some of the storms could be strong, with straight-line winds being the main threat. Total rainfall from today through tomorrow should fall in the 0.5-0.75 range (1/2″ – 3/4″)
Colder air could change any leftover moisture to snow flurries or sleet pellets. No accumulation is expected.
Strong winds will die down by later this afternoon but they will switch to the north and cause a noticeable temperature drop!
Another system moves in on Friday with more rainfall (1/4″ or so). The weekend looks partly to mostly cloudy, with just a very slight chance for an isolated shower or sprinkle (as it looks right now).
Threats
The threat looks low for today, but not zero.

Precip may end as a snowflake or sleet pellet, but accumulation is not expected.
