Forecast Summary

Partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies will be with us for our Thursday. It’s a rather pleasant day, albeit a bit chilly. Clouds increase overnight and that leads to a chance for flurries and snow showers for Friday. Light accumulation is possible. Winds will be gusty from the northwest on Friday, making it feel much colder.

Saturday will be a cold and calm day (calm before the storm), with clouds increasing toward evening. Those clouds thicken up enough to bring the threat for a light wintry mix Sunday morning. That wintry mix should transition to cold rain by the afternoon as winds increase from the south. Rain continues, heavy at times, Sunday night along with gusty south winds. A rumble of thunder can’t be ruled out.

Colder air moves back into the area behind this system Monday morning on gusty northwesterly winds. This will change any leftover precip to snow, with light accumulations of snowfall is certainly possible. Stay tuned for forecast updates and please see graphics below for more specific info!
