Local 5-Day Forecast

Local matters, especially when it comes to your weather forecast!

A warming trend continues!

A light breeze and mostly sunny sky will conspire to create a beautiful first day of the new year! Enjoy!

The warmer air will lead to a chance for showers by tomorrow evening. Those showers will be with us through Friday night and into Saturday morning. Rainfall totals from that will likely stay around 1/4 inch north of I-40, perhaps 1/2 inch south of I-40.

Sunday and Monday look sunny, with another big warming trend starting Monday.

Be sure and check out the new Aches and Pains graphic below! That came by request and I think it will prove useful. It’s certainly getting lots of attention!

Aches & Pains Forecast (NEW!)

An elevated risk for migraine may develop on Saturday, along with a very elevated risk for sinus. Rain showers and cooler weather will conspire for make for an uncomfortable sinus day. Keep that sinus medicine handy, as the forecast looks problematic for those of us who suffer with that. We may see some relief from that the end of next week.

Threat Outlook

Hazardous weather is not expected for the next five days. With a long-range pattern of above normal temps and above normal precip, we may have more storm chances by the end of next week.
