Today’s Hourly Weather

Local 5-Day Forecast for the Plateau
Local matters, especially when it comes to your weather forecast! Bringing you your local weather since 2017!
This forecast is tailor-made for the Cumberland Plateau by Meteorologist Mark Baldwin each day!
A return to colder air and chances for snowflakes.
The morning fog is so dense! Be careful if out and about. A drier north wind should blow much of this out of our neighborhoods later this morning. Sprinkles/light showers will transition to flurries and scattered snow showers by lunchtime and the afternoon. Light accumulation is possible for some of us, especially where snow showers can be a bit heavier. Major impacts are not expected but it doesn’t take much to cause problems.
Tonight will be our coldest night of the week, with temps in the teens.
Warmer temps arrive for Friday, ahead of another cold front. That cold front only drops our temps a bit for Saturday, before temps start an impressive rebound Sunday and into next week. We should see a string of days with highs in the 50s next week!
