The line of storms that I’ve been tracking for a hundred years….I mean…tracking since this morning (ha) is finally moving onto the plateau. Thankfully, storms remain below severe limits. In fact, I haven’t seen a warning since the line moved through West TN (has there even been a warning since the Mississippi River?). That’s wonderful news!
How often do we get into the 70s in March and have a cold front pass through without severe weather? The answer is…not often at all! lol
So, the line is finally moving in and, so far….so good. I’ll keep an eye on things and issue any updates that may be needed. I’m loving the beneficial rainfall that is coming! We’re in for a pretty wet Saturday evening. Be safe on the wet roads if you have to be out and about this evening.
Storm are crawling east at about 25-30 mph. We may still get gusty winds, heavy downpours, and lightning.
I have lowered our threats with this update. Our threats remain low but not zero, therefore we will remain weather aware through the evening.
