I am exhausted but my trip to Golden, Colorado, for the National Science Foundation conference was awesome! We met new and incredible people, saw some beautiful scenery, which including the amazing dino footprints, and had some good collaboration with some very bright minds. I’m missing the conference but glad to be back in our beautiful Tennessee!

March winds returning…
The winds that March is so famous for will be blowing again today and for the next several days. Those winds will be southerly through Friday, bringing in some verm warm temps from the Gulf. Then, a cold front moves into the area Friday evening bringing some showers and cooler temps.
Those cooler temps will bring frost to the plateau Saturday and Sunday mornings. Frosty mornings and warm and sunny afternoons will dominate the weekend forecast.
Active weather is unlikely to return until the end of next week.
