MM’s Level of Concern

MM’s Forecast for the Plateau
This forecast is tailor-made for the Cumberland Plateau by Meteorologist Mark Baldwin each day!
It’s a very warm and humid Tuesday, but at least we’ll have a breeze again today.
That humid air is moving north from the Gulf, ahead of our next storm system. Unlike past systems this spring, this one will hang around a while and act as a focus for days of scattered showers and thunderstorms. It won’t rain all day every day, but there will be a very elevated chance for scattered showers and storms each day.
The wetter pattern may stick around all the way into early next week! With rainfall deficits of at least nine inches across the plateau, we’ll take every drop we can get.
