Today we see our region in the marginal risk for severe storms, which includes the possibility for a brief spin-up tornado.
MM’s Forecast for the Plateau
This forecast is tailor-made for the Cumberland Plateau by Meteorologist Mark Baldwin each day!
We welcome the rain but we’ll be mindful today of a severe storm risk.
That risk comes with the low-end threat for a tornado. I’ll keep an eye on things. Also be mindful that heavy rain can produce flooding and flash flooding.
Elevated rain chances stay with us right on through the holiday weekend. I would reconsider outdoor plans.
