My concern will elevate to Level 2 for tonight if a storm complex develops to our north and starts diving south tonight.

A widespread area of severe storms is expected from Kentucky to Michigan today. Some of that may slip south into our neck of the woods tonight.

The wind damage from last evening’s storms was mostly confined to the western edge of that complex. Oddly, even the storms that bowed out in front of the line, where most wind damage occurs, had much fewer wind damage reports that the storms on the western edge of the cluster of storms.
