Today is Saturday August 22, 2026
7:42 Update; Severe storm warning extended into Bledsoe County. The storm is showing some rotation, so be aware of that. This matters for you all in southwest Cumberland County for the next 15 mins or so.

7:35 Update: Report of multiple large white oaks down at Genesis and Roy Taylor Rd. Time of that damage is estimated at 6:32 (this occurred with an earlier storm).
7:23 Update: The worst of this storm will stay west of Crossville. The largest hail is closer to the Cumbeland/White County border.
7:20 Update: Large hail confirmed in Mayland via video. It appeared to be golfball sized. Radar certainly supports this.
The only storm of concern now is the one in western Cumberland County. That storm continues to be severe. I’ve circled the areas that need to be concerned with this storm. This is the only storm of concern right now. It is moving south and southeast. The warning expires at 7:45 pm.

I’ve circled the area that needs to be concerned with this storm on the map below. This includes Pleasant Hill, Mayland, Crossville, Tansi, Biglick, and any other nearby areas.
