MM’s Wx Analysis

High pressure remains in control of the Southeast and it is barely holding off the next storm system! That system is bringing active weather today just to our west and north. Northern areas of the plateau may see an isolated shower tonight from leftovers of this skirting by. Meanwhile, snowflakes are flying across parts of the Rockies and Hurricane Simon continues to flirt with the west coast of Mexico.

Yesterday the percent of snow cover across the U.S. was 5%.

Today that percentage is also 5%.
