Good evening, folks! I hope you enjoyed the beautiful sunset. People are sharing all sorts of pictures on my Facebook page. The combination of a front passing through, some clearing sky to our west, and a perfectly-timed setting sun all combined to give some of you some very cool colors this evening.
Now that the front has passed through the area, some cooler air is filtering in, as well as partly cloudy skies. Look for overnight lows to fall to near 50°. This will create conditions favorable for dense fog, and the NWS Nashville has now issued a dense fog advisory until 8:00 a.m. Thursday. Be safe if out driving tonight or Thursday morning.
And to give you a heads up….temps are trending colder for the weekend. We may struggle to get into the lower 50s for highs on Saturday, followed by overnight lows in the upper 20s. Our first freeze of the season is looking likely for Saturday night.
You all have a good evening!
