This is just a reminder that widespread frost is likely by Sunday morning. Some areas will likely slip into the upper 20s for lows. If you have any flowers, etc. that you’d like to save for a bit longer, you better bring them in tonight. Also, make sure your outdoor pets have a warm, dry bed.
Temps warm up into the 60s by Monday and those mild temps stay with us through Wednesday. Remember, Wednesday is Veteran’s Day. Then, another cold front arrives Thursday. That front will bring a chance for showers to the plateau, followed by colder air. If some moisture lingers, we may even see some snow flurries Thursday night! I don’t expect any accumulation here but over in the mountains (especially above 3,000 feet), they should see their first snow of the season Thursday night and Friday! Tis the season!
Highs on Friday won’t make it out of the 40s here on the plateau. I expect a hard freeze (lows in the low to mid 20s) by Friday night.
You all take care and stay warm.
