Be sure and look outside when you get a chance. I ventured out during my break and got some nice clouds pics, but they’re even better seen in person! These are the wispy cirrus clouds that are trying to move in ahead of our next storm system. That system is well to our southwest and won’t arrive until Thursday. Still, these clouds can precede the bigger storm systems by hundreds and hundreds of miles.
Cirrus clouds are typically found at altitudes of 20,000 feet or higher. They are made up entirely of ice crystals and sure can make the sky pretty! Go out and look up!
