Summary
Look for more beneficial rain today and tomorrow. Again, it will not rain the whole time but nailing down specific times for the rain is nearly impossible. Just keep your rain gear handy and an eye on the radar if there’s something you must do outside.
I’m still not expecting severe weather, but one or two storms could be a bit strong. Heavy downpours in t-storms can also be expected.
Drier weather looks to return the beginning of next week.
Records
The worst tornado in Michigan’s history hit on this day in 1953. The tornado killed 116 people as it tore through Flint. At times, the twister was a half-mile wide. More than 200 homes were completely destroyed, with entire families perishing in the storm.

Today’s blog is especially abbreviated, as I’m running the Asheville half marathon this morning. Wish me luck!
