11:45 Weather Update

The Storm Prediction Center just issued their latest convective outlook at 11:30 and they decreased their concern for East TN. It’s still rather elevated, but the tornado threat for them was reduced by a lot.

As for us, we remain in the marginal risk for severe storms. Radar trends are looking good, showing showers across Middle TN. Storms are yet to organize and I’m not sure they will until they get onto or just east of the plateau.

Still, I’ll keep an eye on things. Like I said, we remain in the marginal risk and we can’t totally discount a strong/severe storm until the cold front passes through. That will have happened by 2:00 pm. The front just passed through the Nashville area.

My level of concern is still low, though I did lower it a bit more from the last outlook. These clouds are going to help us out a lot!
