The Storm Prediction Center has expanded the tornado watch in Middle TN to now include all of the Cumberland Plateau. This watch is in effect until 1:00 am. I’m continuing to track strong to severe storms across Middle TN this evening. Some of these storms have prompted tornado warnings from time to time.
You can see that line of storms on the radar below. I’ve highlighted the border of Cumberland County.
My temperature has risen two degrees in the past hour. I am now 63 degrees. The warmer we get, the stronger these storms may be. Let’s hope we don’t get any warmer.
Remember, warnings come from the NWS in Nashville. Hopefully, we won’t get any of those this evening.
