We have one last line of showers and storms and then we’ll be finished with this system. This is the actual cold front pushing through. Behind this front, temps will take a tumble and you’ll notice quite the difference tomorrow! Temperatures are expected to be about 20 degrees below normal for tomorrow. That means high temps will only be in the upper 50s.
These storms are not severe and they’re not expected to become severe. Still, we could see some heavy rainfall, lightning, and gusty winds. The line is narrow and swiftly moving, so none of that will last long.
I highlighted Cumberland and Fentress Counties on the radar imagery below. Notice how narrow the line is. These storms will be moving across the plateau by 8:30.
