Saturday Silliness

During the spring COVID-19 quarantine, stores ran low on toilet paper. So when a mid-April snowstorm blanketed the Missouri Valley of Nebraska and Iowa, one family wasn’t content to simply make a snowman. They made toilet paper snow sculpture! Today’s Tennessee Weather

Lots of clouds will be in our Tennessee skies for our Saturday. Those clouds, along with a light northerly breeze, will keep temps very cool for this time of year!

Tomorrow’s Tennessee Weather

Sunday will be sunnier! That sunshine will warm us up to temps more typical of this time of year.

Drought Monitor

The drought monitor is updated each Thursday.

Weather SnapShots

A very sobering reminder of just how bad the drought out west has gotten over the past year. We’ve seen droughts like this in the Southeast. They’re no fun.

NASA Nerdology

NASA’s Mars Helicopter, Ingenuity, took a wild ride a week ago! The chopper was performing its sixth flight when it started flying erratically. The anomaly occurred about 54 seconds into the flight. The mission was supposed to gather more photography. Thankfully, the helicopter recovered enough to land safely.

You all have a great day and keep lookin’ up!
