Visits

This week will be a busy one for school visits! I’ll be at South Cumberland on Thursday (Kindergarten). I’ll then be at Homestead (K-6th), Burks (Kindergarten), Pine Haven (Kindergarten) on Friday! I can’t wait!

Twister

The final week of February is severe weather awareness week and we’re raising awareness by bringing back a cinematic treasure! See Twister on the big screen again on February 25th! The movie starts at 7:00 pm and tickets are only $5 per person! Money raised goes to help low-income folks purchase a weather radio.

The Palace will have concession specials that include a meal deal of nachos, hotdog, or taquitos plus drink for $5 and/or the Twister deal of candy, popcorn and drink for $5. You can’t beat that! (Also, the hotdogs at the Palace are amazing!).

Come out and see cows (or was it the same one?) fly across the big screen for the first time since the movie debuted in 1996! Get your tickets today on the Palace Theatre website at https://crossvilletn.gov/department/palace-theatre/ or simply purchase them at the door that evening. We’ll see ya there!

If we can catch a break with the clouds, the western sky looks to have some nice astronomical treats for us! This is the sky about 45 minutues after sunset, looking south and east.
