Twister
The final week of February is severe weather awareness week and we’re raising awareness by bringing back a cinematic treasure! See Twister on the big screen again on February 25th! The movie starts at 7:00 pm and tickets are only $5 per person! Money raised goes to help low-income folks purchase a weather radio.
The Palace will have concession specials that include a meal deal of nachos, hotdog, or taquitos plus drink for $5 and/or the Twister deal of candy, popcorn and drink for $5. You can’t beat that! (Also, the hotdogs at the Palace are amazing!).
Come out and see cows (or was it the same one?) fly across the big screen for the first time since the movie debuted in 1996! Get your tickets today on the Palace Theatre website at https://crossvilletn.gov/department/palace-theatre/ or simply purchase them at the door that evening. We’ll see ya there!

Weather-Aware Times
While most days these weeks feature lots of winds, the wind could become especially disruptive from Wednesday to Thursday, with some gusts possbily topping 40 mph. I’ll continue to monitor that closely.

Weather Summary
Today is looking fantastic, with lots of sun and mild temps. Those mild temps continue for much of the week, though winds will be kicking up. Those winds are looking strongest from Wednesday to Thursday.
Wednesday night and Thursday morning are looking like the wettest time periods. As colder air filters into the area Friday night, rain showers could turn to snow showers. Little, if any, accumulation is expected. I’ll monitor that closely.
