Weather Summary
Rain moves out by Monday afternoon, leaving us with some starry skies for Monday night. The main story for today will be the strong southerly winds. A wind advisory is in effect for today.
Tuesday looks superb, with sunny skies, mild temps, and light winds.
By Wednesday, clouds increase and that leads to a return of showers by Wednesday afternoon and evening. There is a risk for a storm Wednesday afternoon and evening that could be on the strong side. The Storm Prediction Center is now highlighting southern Middle TN in a marginal risk for severe storms for Wednesday afternoon and evening. I’ll monitor that closely. Rain increases in coverage overnight and that sets the stage for what now appears to be a very wet and stormy end to the week.
Thursday looks showery and mild. By Thursday night, rain and storms become more widespread. By Friday, some of those storms could be strong to severe. The Storm Prediction Center has highlighted our area in a low-end risk for severe storms. I’ll keep you posted!
