The Storm Prediction Center has now highlighted all of the plateau in a severe storm risk for Wednesday evening and overnight. All modes of severe weather are possible, with large hail and heavy rainfall appearing to be the greatest threats. An isolated tornado can’t be ruled out.
This will be the beginning of an active period that will require us to be weather-aware through Friday morning.
