Local Weather Concerns
A complex of thunderstorms is expected to develop tonight across the Midwest. That complex will move south and southeast on Thursday. Some of those storms may survive to get to the plateau. If they do, they will pose a damaging wind threat. I’ll monitor this closely and will issue a special weather update later this evening to update you on this developing situation. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the plateau in the marginal risk for severe storms.

Heat will begin to build into the region by Thursday. Remember to be safe in that afternoon heat. Drink plenty of water and take breaks in the shade.
